The NAACP is the largest and most influential civil rights organization in the nation. The vital work that we do to advance the political, educational, social, and economic equality of Black people in the United States depends on the generosity of supporters like you. Supporting your local chapter through donations, gifts, purchasing tickets and attending events help in our fight to dismantle racism and to fight for issues that affect the community.

Your donations will also help our continued support of higher education as we award scholarships to deserving local High School Seniors.

With your support, the NAACP locally and Nationally will continue to lead the charge in:

• • • Fighting back against voter suppression laws and unfair redistricting.
    • Fighting back against the spread of COVID-19 misinformation.
    • Providing assistance to those in need of food during the economic downturn due to COVID-19
    • Distributing PPE to churches, schools, and individuals to deter the spread of the virus in the community
    • Providing information and education on various topics including Health and Racial Equity within our community.
    • Forming strong partnerships with other like-minded civic organizations within our community.
    • Annually the Union County Branch of the NAACP #5416 holds its Annual Scholarship Fundraising Plate Sale. This year’s event was held on June 26, 2021 once again at the Marshville Lodge, #270, PHA. We would like to thank the community for your continued support. We are thrilled to say that once again you have made our Annual Plate Sale a success.  Through your donations, we were able to profit $3597 which will be used to award scholarships to deserving local High School Seniors. You truly make a difference for us, and we are extremely grateful!

Annually the Union County Branch of the NAACP #5416 holds its Annual Scholarship Fundraising Plate Sale. This year’s event was held on June 26, 2021, once again at the Marshville Lodge, #270, PHA.
